Amina Mubarak Ahmad is a public health practitioner and Community Engagement Officer with Bridge Connect Africa Initiative, an organization that creatively engages young people towards amplifying and building a voice around women’s rights, adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights, and girl child education in their communities. She was selected as 2020 ShE Leader with Africa Matters Initiative, 2019 ONE Champion, Bauchi State UNICEF Youth Advocate, and UNFPA Youth Social Media Advocate.
In 2019, Amina coordinated the 1st Bauchi State Youth SDGs Dialogue during the International Youth Day. She has also represented Bauchi State Youths at the ECOWAS Youth Peace Summit and was part of the organizing committee of the NorthNormal Stand Still Rally which accelerated the passage of the Violence Against Person Prohibition Law (VAPP) by the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
