Abdulbasit Salahudeen Mikail is a youth activist with over half a decade of experience in the development space. He is passionate about youth inclusion and the intersection of climate change with health and education. He takes pride in building the capacity of young people and making communities and individuals who are underrepresented visible to the government and development partners by using data and stories to inform advocacies, policies, and interventions.
Currently, Abdulbasit proudly serves as one of the esteemed Youth Advisory Council members of Comic Relief US, a reputable USA-based non-profit organization striving to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty globally. He is also a HEY Campaign Ambassador. He is also an African Youth Task Team member of the African Youth Partnership, spearheading continental advocacy for the equitable recovery of young people from the global COVID-19 pandemic.
He is also the co-founder and CFO of BYY Innovations.
