Sekinah Ibrahim is a tech enthusiast and cybersecurity expert. She has over four years of experience as a program and communications manager in non-profit organization management, focusing on strategic planning, public speaking, creative writing, and social media.
Beyond her professional expertise, Sekinah actively advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by empowering underprivileged individuals to recognize their potential and excel in the tech space.
She is proficient in Microsoft applications and programming languages like Python, PHP, and JavaScript. Sekinah is a GDG Organizer and Digital Content Creator who is committed to simplifying complex cybersecurity and tech topics while advocating for greater inclusion of women in the tech industry.
Through her journey in community development, she has actively participated in impactful initiatives addressing issues such as Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Livelihood and Skills Development, and Health Technology.
Sekinah is a member of the Kaduna State chapter of She Code Africa, a fellow of Click-on Kaduna State Data Science Fellowship, and a facilitator of TMAX Cybersecurity in Kaduna State. She is also a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador. Sekinah continues to make an impact on the local and global tech community through her tech education series ‘techkeenah’ on social media.
