Aliyu Musa is a dedicated young changemaker, a passionate development enthusiast, and a committed community champion. With over four years of experience, he has effectively advocated for Civic Participation, Good Governance, Peace Building, and various other community issues.
Since 2020, he has empowered over 100 students with knowledge about the UN-SDGs. As project manager of #RCVAdamawa23, he has skillfully utilized diverse community engagement and mobilization strategies to successfully rally over 20,000 women and youths to register and/or collect their Permanent Voter Cards in Adamawa state.
Through his voluntary work with esteemed international and national organizations such as Follow The Money, CITADEL, and WAYMA, Aliyu has continually honed his skills in community and stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and project management, as well as interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Aliyu has garnered recognition for his efforts, including winning CITAD’s Report a Project Competition in January 2023. He participated in the EU-funded Nigerian Youth Community Peace Building and Resilience to Crisis and Fragility Project. Moreover, he is a Fellow of LEAP Africa’s Youth Leadership Development Program and KECTIL. He became a COMITAS II Fellow with Search For Common Ground Nigeria.
