As the Founder of Flourish Heart Foundation, she is focused on advocating for women’s rights through entrepreneurship, the organization serves as strength of hope for women in rural communities, seeking to break free from societal constraints and realize their full potential.
Uwakmfon’s professional journey has been enriched by a diverse array of experiences. From serving as social mobilization assistant at Health Communication Capacity Collaboration, she has had the privilege of contributing to global health initiatives. At Neighbourhood Care-Well Foundation, she took on the vital role of a Gender-Based Violence Case Manager, offering support to survivors and working towards eradicating this pervasive issue.
To further build her skills, she has gotten certifications in Nonprofit And Leadership Management from the prestigious Lagos Business School.
As a Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), GeneralKopho Leadership Program, The Changemakers Fellowship, and Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship, she has been privileged to collaborate with visionary leaders and changemakers. Additionally, her role as a Sustainability Leader for United People Global, based in Switzerland, empowers her to inspire young individuals to understand their civic rights and actively contribute to a brighter future.
